The runtime of an inverter power generator depends on the size of the fuel tank and fuel consumption. Smaller models can run for several hours, while larger models are designed for long-term operation. It is important to regularly monitor the fuel level and refill the power generator as needed.

Formula to calculate runtime per tank:

kg/kWh  x  max. kW  /  0.72 (for gasoline) 0.82 (for diesel)  =  X L/h

Tank volume in L  /  X = Y   L/h at 100% load

Example calculation for the Voltherr VDL-20/I

0.190 kg/kWh  x  22 kW  / 0.82  = 5.1 L/h

90 L  /  5.1 = 17.65h runtime at 100% load
